I met up with this girl who I had a long history with, I had known her for 20 years and had a prior relationship with her. Last March we met and in April we went to Foxwoods and I brought my whole BR with me. I wasn't really playing poker much at the time. Then it started.
On that first night I won like $700. Within 2 months I had 5K and 10K in 4, roughly. I won alot playing poker..roughly 25K...roughly 15K playing BJ(just using perfect basic strategy and keep my sessions short..less than a shoe sometimes Id tilt)...10K on sports and another 10K on online casino's. I also played the daily number for the 1st time in a year and won $700 and hit for a grand and 2 $500 dollar scratch ticket winners when I wasnt spending that much.
I now just bet small on basketball($50 to $100 a game and I have my ups and downs) and play poker a few times a week(1-2NL game..that plays like a GOOD and very aggressive 2-5NL game). I haven't bought a ticket or played BJ since Jan 1st and I wont..along with internet gaming..which is the latest of things I will quit for good.
I realize that I've gotten extremely lucky and if you're wondering where all the other cash went(these are guesses but there pretty accurate because from Aug of 2010 on I kept records)..well me and my girl had alot of fun and we now have a 3 month old. So, 27.5K is safely away. I've got roughly 9K at my fingertips but I only bring 1K to a card game and I've got a lucky 100 and 50 dollar bill with me at all times that I don't spend so I only have 850 to spend and thats also to feel comfortable.
Its been a super sick time. Think about being stuck 2k and waiting for 2K to be delivered to you at a casino and you take $250(my last spendable money on me) and bet it on one hand of BJ and win. Then take the nickel and win again. Then take the G and win again. Take back 1k (1k was the limit at this $25 table) and get a blackjack. Picture something similar happening a few other times. There were times Id drive to the casino which takes an hour and a half. Buy-in for 3k at BJ bet 1K on the 4th or 5th hand get a double down,win, cashout and leave after 5 minutes. I had crazy luck and its been a hell of a ride and feels like I've had an angel on my shoulder even though I don't believe in that sh*t but crazy runs happen. Some alot bigger than this. I've heard of a dude turning 10K into 7mil and living at the casino for 3 years in incredible villas and have Jets and butlers and limos. This dude would have them bring a BJ table to his room. He was friendly with my father, I once saw 3 safety deposit boxes filled to the brim with 5K chips and now he goes around the same casino telling people his story and looks for backers, claiming he could do it again.
