Yeah I would imagine that because of how many tables he's gonna be running for such a long period of time it's absurd to restrict who can sit. Also, I think it's in our best interest for everyone who participates in this bet to disclose their stars screen name (either on here or via PM to me if you don't want to be outed) so that I can help monitor the potential stalling situation.

Given how many tables gary plays and the fact that lots of us play 50bb min 200NL on stars it just seems inevitable that we'll run into each other. I'm not going to do anything stupid like time down every hand or anything like that, but I agree it's good to have people's SN on record just to confirm.

Edit: I'd also like to see the final stipulations before locking in and escrowing. The OP still says a bunch of rules are subject to change and I haven't seen many of those specifics addressed after the OP in this thread.

No webcam wtf? Most of these people are taking a bet due to past track record, being unable to prove it's you playing and not zachvac for 30k hands is a pretty big deal.

Posting for bet clarifications and terms

The bet: OP (Gary_Neville, MilitiaRusha on pokerstars) will play 30k hands in 24 hours or less and show a profit before rakeback.

The odds: 3:1 in Gary's favor ($7,500 of bbv's money against $2,500 of Gary's)

The escrow: Me! KRab42 on stars, city is chicago. PM me about sending on FTP but it's not preferred.

Rules:

1. The bet will take place between March 19th 6:00am CET and March 20th 6:00am CET
2. At least 30,000 hands will be played within that time frame. If not, Gary loses the bet
3. At the end of 30,000 hands profit will be totaled, before rakeback. Gary will not have a chance to chase losses beyond 30,000 hands played
4. All hands will be played on pokerstars, under the handle MilitiaRusha, at 200nl 6max tables, either 50bb min or regular. Gary will be full stacked at all points during the 30,000 hands.
5. There will not be a webcam recording, but Gary will not be hidden from search.
6. There is no restriction on how long he plays consecutively, only that he must complete 30,000 hands in the given time frame
7. There is no restriction on who can sit at his tables, but any suspicious activity (i.e. stalling) will be noted and dealt with by appointed judges. All bettors must provide their pokerstars screen name so that judges may monitor their activity on Gary's tables. Any bettor who is determined to have stalled significantly will void the bet.

I just threw this together from reading the thread, but I'll have OP confirm these before they are the *official* rules. This should just clarify now that bbv gets to see the bet. Post any questions or necessary clarifications here.

Also, I'm currently the only escrow but if anyone reputable wants to offer it's much appreciated. If this becomes an issue I'll start PMing some people to see if they're willing. The only thing I've written above that is tenative is the exact start/end time of the bet. It WILL be on march 19th, and it WILL be a 24 hour period, but it might start at 5:00, 7:00, 6:30, whatever. It will be made clear in advance when the first hand is going to be played.
