Gary and Roseeker should be outed with their real names. In fact they are all giving us (us = non-cheating pokerplayers with single accounts) a bad name. Also, things like this, backing scams like Constant Rijkenbergs' etc are really harming the pokerworld = scared fish = -EV).

The damage of their actions are FAR bigger then the couple of bucks won or lost time/propbets made here.

The way the current aftermath is handled is an incentive for scammers! 2+2 should have it's own crucifiction page on which all details of confirmed scammers are presented.

I hope Stars will donate the bankrolls of Gary/Roseeker to charity.

Thats all i wanted to say, i can understand people being pissed off. Maybe the prop bets need to be even more carefully policed in future - by their very nature they seem more open to manipulation.

seriously, is there no way the police can be involved? this is pretty serious fraud. poker players get a bit ambivalent towards money at times because we see big sums jump back and forth constantly but i remember how pissed off i was when someone scammed a vulnerable relative out of 1k, and that was a really big deal. i know this a 2+2 prop bet so the legal aspects are more than a little hazy but i'd like to see the law at least judge them and decide for themselves. if these guys are willing to pull something like this i don't believe for a second they wouldn't run a scam in other circumstances with people who can't afford to lose 7.5k, its not like they're suddenly gonna find some values.

They have already lost the bet and will likely have their Stars acounts shut down and funds confiscated. So they already have been punished for their cheating.

We need to out their names simply as a precaution that they don't scam people in the future.

EDIT: Since this is my first post in this epic thread, I need to give mad props to Jalex for upholding the integrity of the poker community as a whole by protecting some prop bettors against some scum cheaters in our midst.

I have read both apologies and both cheaters come across as having sincere remorse. That being said, time and again RoSeeker has proven that he has an excellent ability to speak very articulately and concoct a believable web of lies. We also have to factor in that even if they are genuinely remorseful, we cannot know whether their remorse stems from cheating others in the first place (which I doubt) or from getting caught (which I believe).

That being said, as far as punishment goes, my previous statements before this edit still stand. I want to know their names and pictures to protect the poker community against any possible future scams, but I feel that no one should try to personally "get even" with them.

Perhaps we could wait ~1 month for things to cool down before outing their names/faces.

thing i dont like is that the fools betting against here actually win money. it is pretty obvious a bet like this is easy to manipulate.

Yeah it was, but to my knowledge/memory, we never found out who Gary was.
