Hey guys,

Yesterday I got first place in a $20 PKO out of 67 entrees and it was my 4th time ever playing this event. I didn't deliver someone some of kind sick cooler, I played my strategy and made a lot of good decisions.

I've struggled with doing multiple rebuys, over bluffing, and playing $20 buyin STTs and heads ups, and burning my bankroll up when I have a downswing after a streak of success, and I'm finally starting to see consistent results and manage those challenges way better.

This is also big for me since I turned $10 into around $300 via MTTs and $20 6max in about a week or less and then lost it all mainly on $20 6max and $20 heads up (as my win rate is 58% at 100 about total heads ups (which is not enough for a ROI estimation which my bankroll and I finally took to heart)

it feels great to get first as I've been running into coolers often in the final heads up (AKo vs KJ. I lost to a 4 card flush on the jack in one MTT, Kings vs Ace Jack, and Ace Jack off vs Ace 3 with a 3 on the river in the last 3 of so MTT heads up I've gotten to. I have really been focused on figuring out what games I can win consistently, and this was my first time playing this particular event and this is my new largest win (I just started playing in January and have quit a couple times). I am now cashing in a MTT at least once a day. Shoutout to Bart from Crush Live Poker his videos are really really good for practicing my reading.

I also am noticing my chip EV has been consistently profitable in the vast majority of MTTs as of late according to Hand2Note.

This journey so far has been really painful at times with times where I a lost hurt so bad I sat there silent for like 30 minutes with just a slurry of pain and emotion jut sitting there in my stomach like a , and I am happy to start to see results. I am only down $60 in 1 of my 2 poker accounts I actively use now (at the worst I think I was down like $600 on one of them) so I should be able to get finally into the green on both within 1 to 3 days for the first time since I've started playing and start to consistently have back to back profit days.


I am still refining my money making strategy via game selecting, buyin management for satellites (which would often cause me to have a losing day not long ago).
