I'm glad you asked. I am moving slower than anticipated because I don't want to launch a crappy website. My original mentality of 'get it done and optimize later' didn't satisfy the random perfectionist that appears within me when it's time to evaluate a website that represents me and my brand, Turbo Kings.

So I have held off on the webinar until the website is done, and will likely be hosting the free webinar sometime during mid-November.

I have continued grinding SNG's pretty hard this month (October) but September was a low-volume month due to my attention and focus being shifted to WCOOP/MTT's. I booked a 9th and 12th in WCOOP (rain) but those scores kept me too far out of the negatives - but the graph still took a hit that's for sure.

I upgraded my grind station (finally) and am now going to be averaging about 22 tables for 7~ hours per day and then between 12-18 for 3-5 hours per day when I put in a full session. I've attached a pic of the new setup as well as an updated SNG graph. I plan on chasing down several #1's on the SharkScope yearly leaderboards, it's fun to watch the rise each week



-MSI laptop fully equipped to run faster than Usain Bolt in the middle
-28 inch 4k resolution for lobby/browser/skype/etc on the left
-32 inch dell 4k resolution on the right
-External webcam and mic to keep us connected
-Razer Deathadder mouse with family pic collage mouse pad
-The best grind chair in the biz
-My sidekick blazing one on the poker mirror and a beach view behind those window shutters


And as you can see here on the tail end of this graph, the first session on the new setup went pretty damn well! I'm all revved up to play a massive Sunday session tomorrow.

Nice, been looking at an MSI - do you ever get issues with resolution when moving windows between your screens? I have a 4k laptop at the moment and have real issues getting some things (PT4) to display correctly.

You are not the first to ask so I assume there are some common issues. The only thing I have noticed so far is that the 28 inch does not remain in 4k resolution when I use the mini display port. I haven't got around that yet as it doesn't create much of a problem but it would be nice to have the 4k over there for my lobby as well.

First session on the new setup was Saturday and it went really well, and then Sunday's session started at 430am and I was down $1500 about 12 hours into the session.

I then found myself 1-tabling the $16.50 Deep Stack PKO 30k GTD. with about 50 players to go. Then I found chips, and then some more. I got to the final table and picked up some momentum and never looked back. +$4800 and a nice spike on the graph

I'm priming myself (thanks, Fedor) to continue the heat all the way through 2018 and beyond. I feel like an athlete in spring training - getting ready for a very important season. No, take it a step further - I feel like Kobe or Jordan as a rookie with veteran hindsight...already aware that I will win several championships and lead dynasty teams. I already know, now I just have to remain focused on execution. That's where self-discipline either reveals itself, or the lack of it comes to surface.

I turn 30 on December 21st of this year. I am dangerously determined to make 2018 a turning point type milestone year for me and my family. While all of my plans are not certain, one thing I do know is that this thread is really cool and I will absolutely continue to update my journey here and hopefully make the list of best-ever-threads someday.

PS - Still looking for prop bet action next year but have someone interested and we are likely to strike a deal on Monday. It's looking like I will probably get 3:1 and bet my $5,000 to win his $15,000 - so we'll have $20,000 locked up in escrow all year potentially. Really hoping to make this official next week!

Yeah, I don't have much time for anything or anyone outside of poker and my dogs. I have a girl in my life, but she is well aware of the situation and OK with it for now so it's not like I am torturing my girlfriend. She entered this lifestyle as we started dating and knew what she was getting into, she didn't have to adapt to it. She is 23 and I am 29, neither of us have kids and my parents/siblings are back home in Texas and I visit them once per year around Christmas time and stay for a few weeks when I am there.

It's certainly not easy being away from my family, but it's a sacrifice I am willing to make right now to continue chasing the dream.
