The play is bad, but it's not exactly monumentally BBV-worthy.

Hero is showing 9744 on 6th which can be no better than 9742A, and is often MUCH, MUCH worse, although it's pretty likely he's got a made-9, or at worse is drawing to a 97 if he's got anything under that plays.

The problem is that Villain's best hand on 6th is no better than K986A (Pokerstars shuffles downcards in the history, no?), and he's drawing to a 98 low even if he spikes a deuce on 7th.

Calling the river in a Razz game with almost any hand that called 6th isn't terrible, even playing king-low. If you've gone that far, hoping that your opponent had a pile of bricks under isn't the worst play ever if you called 6th. Only worse would be to call 6th behind and then fold 7th.

Hero raised with a 9 after villain opened with a 6, and then hero check-called to the end. It's about standard.

If villain goes around folding K-9-low all the time, how easy would he be to exploit.

I actually did the mathematics, he is getting 96:1 on a call (if you are a poker player you would know how to calculate this), so the call needs to be correct about 1/9000 times to make it profitable.

So basically villain owned you beyond your wildest dreams.

Err no calling with a K low isn't equivalent to calling with 5 high. For Villain's low to be good Hero would need two cards that are a pair or K, and then one card T-K (or a third pair). Since Villain knows Hero has at least a pair of 4's, the odds off this are 12/41 * 23/40, which is 16.8%, which is about the equivalent of 8 high vs a random hand on AKJ96.
