Lets say i got KK
flop is Kx5c2c, i bet, he calls
turn 4c, i bet he calls
river 7c, check check and villian has Kx9c.

Those hands are not in my 40BI under EV graph. But I get those hands way waaaay too many times.
And yes, I could play better. But it's hard with all the bad beats.

OP did your downswing end??
So I guess at least 100k hands more for me

nice bounce back, GL

Hello Zachary,

Thank you for contacting Full Tilt Poker Support.

I did have a look at your graph Zachary, and I will admit it looks to be one of the worst I have seen. We do apologize for the bad run of cards, it appears you are experiencing.

With that being said, unfortunately we do not offer a promotional bonus for players just because they are unable to win consistently at a certain limit.

What I can offer you, should be far more valuable and rewarding though. The doom switch on your account has been turned off and it is now completely up to you, on wether or not you win or lose. Start playing with some confidence again Zachary and most importantly stay positive. I can tell by the statistics under your account that you are a decent winning Poker player.

this got me confused, and i usually dont miss irony or sarcasm

were they joking?
were you faking the mail?
wtf,heeelp and explanation please

im in a sicker than sick be stretch in my discipline.moved down a limit and keep getting fcked over and over.feeling for you.
Rofl that FTP support tells him his doomswitch is now off and then he starts running well again.

Re: 08 so far...

You realise we can all post hands like this right?

Kudos on running exceptionally badly and all, but you're turning this into a self-fullfilling prophecy. As long as you're thinking "no one's as unlucky as me" you probably shouldn't be playing at all.

Unless you know exactly what you're doing and this is just a clever ruse to make people try and suck out on you... I'd respect that.

Thinking negatively causes you to run below all-in EV imo

umm, no.

But if I were at the point where every time I took a beat I ran to post it in my "I'm the unluckiest player on the interwebz" sympathy thread, I'd hope that I'd realise it was time for a break from the game.

Luck is all past tense.

He ran exceptionally badly at the start of this year. Whether he still has been I don't know. But his future expectation is obviously just the same as anyone else's.

You're definitely an unlucky mother****er for this to be happening to you, but 1.5ptbb is not the difference between winning solidly and breaking even. I get that it's hard to keep a positive mentality when running bad over long periods, but you have to take an objective look at your game and find some stuff that you could do better. Even though it's hard, making sure that you're playing well is really, really important when you're running bad.

Also, I recommend reading Tommy Angelo's book if you haven't already. It might help your negative state of mind improve a little (it certainly did w/ me).

You are assuming he's running luck neutral every where else I guess?

The fact that any stock is being put into HEM's "EV Calculation" makes this whole thread suspect imo.

In this world, is the destiny of poker controlled by some tragidental entity or law? Is it like the hand of god howering above? atleast it is true, that man has no controll. Even over his own EV

If it's really that bad just stop. Plus your HEM EV that you're so obsessed with has been break even for 100k.

Wow people like this are complete idiots. The man is 100 buyins below equity after 400k hands!!!! How many HM graphs even say that?!? I'd say that 99% of the people on these forums wouldn't be able to handle this kind of a run.

Slugger, don't listen to people who have no idea what it means to run bad. You have endured to worst run recorded in online poker history. Hope it turns around for you. Kudos for sticking it out so long! Not many people could do that.
