Re: 08 so far...

Of course, a lot of folding

thanks

If this graph is true it is truely horrible.

This could happen if u run into the infamous small stack and small bankroll rig.

To make the game continue as long as possible u are more lucky if u commit ur last money.

1. If u have a big sum on ur account compared to the buyin there is no use rigging for u. U can always reload.

2. If u have the smaller stack on the table it is better u win instead of a big stacker.

So my guess, if this is really a rig and not manipulated hands (that u have constructed a db of suitable hands), is that u buyin for medium to full and have quite a lot on ur account.

Then to maximize rake and make the game continue for as long as possible the small stackers gets spiced odds.

Re: 08 so far...

Slugger = inspiration.

I'm taking a break because i am running 20 buy-ins under expectation (in all-in luck) in 6k hands at PLOH100 over the past 8 days.

6K hands!! You've been running like dog ***** for 300K hands! Have you ever considered that God may be punishing you for every time you've masturbated and not apologized to him?

Re: 08 so far...

I said in my op, I would probably end up running 100 buyins below equity. Well, I am really close to it now as you can see.

Decided to play some relaxing hu NL50 this afternoon.

Brings my total to:
6459(big blinds won)- 16194 (equity adjusted)= -9735 big blinds below equity

=97.25 buyins below equity

Game of skill.

Re: 08 so far...

Serious reply: 100 buyins over 320k hands is 1.5ptbb.

You're definitely an unlucky mother****er for this to be happening to you, but 1.5ptbb is not the difference between winning solidly and breaking even. I get that it's hard to keep a positive mentality when running bad over long periods, but you have to take an objective look at your game and find some stuff that you could do better. Even though it's hard, making sure that you're playing well is really, really important when you're running bad.

Also, I recommend reading Tommy Angelo's book if you haven't already. It might help your negative state of mind improve a little (it certainly did w/ me).

Re: 08 so far...

I'm pretty sure HM's allin calc is not 100% accurate. I just ran it for my yearly results and it tells me I'm 12,776 big blinds under expectation (basically 128 buyins). I've been running bad, but not that bad.

Re: 08 so far...

why dont u just save the stress that this game has clearly caused you and just call it quits...i couldnt handle running like this for that amount of hands itd make me question my daily existence on this planet...cant imagine playing 300k hands + and barely winning. have u seriously thought about quitting? i imagine if u did you would be a lot happier in your life..i know i prolly would be without poker

I think there is an issue with the way it calculates multi-way, all-in pots, IIRC. There should be a patch eventually to fix it, and recalculate the historical hands.

I hope so bad you are right. But I've realized that expecting it to come has only made me play worse.

I'm not playing at all in september and most of october. I hope to come back with a new attitude and not be suicidal. (joke)

3k-4k. I have been cashing out my rakeback for the past 6 months though, so moving down is inevitable if I keep this up.

Eastern I respect you. I almost cursed you out because you were owning me and I was running bad a while back. Somehow I restrained myself.

Re: 08 so far...

Seriously I think its just because I'm a bad person though. I am getting what I deserve for living such a selfish life I guess. Maybe if I were a better person like all of the people I play things could be better. I'll have to work on that.
