OP, I truly know how you feel because I'm also having a bad run for a month in FTP. I'm playing NL25, and I've lost $500+ in Full Tilt.
I started to play poker seriously since last year December at Pokerstars, worked all my way from $10 to $1300, and I switched to FTP because I wanted the rakeback. After i started, i was merely breaking even on the first few days, and nothing wrong about it. But after that I realised that FTP has turn the doomswitch on me. OK, i lost 4-5 buy in, standard. That's variance. I then exclude myself for 7 days, after the exclusion, another downswing, down 4-5 buy in. Whatever, i left after i realised that i was tilting. Later i came back when i feel i was on my A game, but i still keep on losing. This finally become a loop: Lose, break, back with best status, and lose.
I'm pretty sure I am a winning player at this level because I was like 10BB/100 at stars. I know i'm not a great player, and I often make mistakes, but I still believe I am good enough to beat NL25, at least breakeven. In my pt3 status, at least 70% of the hand showdown i lost in FTP actually i was on favourite.

Compare to your bad run it is nothing, but my run definitely has made me lose confidence. I know variance, and I know blaming on variance is stupid because it is part of poker. But -25BI downswing is just a bit too much and I really need to vant. It never happened to me in other sites, and never happened in my poker career before. I never had a winning day after i moved my roll to FTP. I was planning to move up to NL 50 after my roll reach $1500, but my plan is ruined because of this f**king bad run. I also realised that bad beat occurs more often in FTP than other sites. I've seen sooooooooo many suckout occured even i was not involved in the hand.

Maybe I just suck? but whatever, I'm tired of this s**t. F**k FTP. I'm not going to play there anymore.

that's really gross. at first i thought, "i've run this bad before, no biggie" then i poker ev'd my worst stretch (over 40k hands) and i got a p=.75. and that was a horrific stretch of hands. i can't imagine how bad one has to run to get .0039

It has been a miracle that I haven't broken anything or jumped out the window yet. I keep my computer away from me so I don't react and hit it. And I can't believe I haven't punched a hole in my monitor yet.

When I really start to heat up and feel my anger build, I try to get my mind to a point where there is no thought of poker. I usually will get far away from my computer and watch pti or something and make every effort to not put a second of thought into my luck. I have scared my dog a few times yelling.
