In position: I rarely would raise this flop and I call most of the time on the flop except for the really helpless hands. My range is pretty wide and I'm value betting as thin as AT. I'm also bluffing a lot of draws and the occasional low equity bluff. Thinking about it now I see that this is the widest range in position spot imaginable other than some huhu spots. So we should be bluffing at quite high frequencies.

Out of position I'm checking bluffcatchers, weak draws, junk, and the occasional little set. I'm betting better 7x and everything better.

the reason i'm asking is because as the ip player, i've found myself betting turn 100% when c/'d to. i also think most people do, which leads me to think the oop player should be c/r'ing a ton. even stuff like mid pairs and bdd's until ip starts c/'ing back turns?

The ranges are so unbelievably wide at this point, that's why I responded "2 cards each."
IP I'm betting good value hands, strong draws, and some hopeless hands, checking back bluff catchers and weak draws.

Not sure if I love checking weak draws. If you're going to check call with the draw you might as well bet in hopes of villain folding/turn it into a bluff by river esp if villain isn't raising turn often. You can increase your xr turn frequency with stronger hands/big draws.

Was saying as the IP player (BB) I would check weak draws in order to take a free card. OOP I would generally fire a second barrel.

I think value betting and bluffing ranges should be wider in position than out of position, naturally. So I'm inclined to disagree with the above proposed strategy of generally firing second barrels out of position with weak draws.

You don't raise pre and you don't raise flop. So your 100% bet-when-checked-to has to be relatively weak, no? Plus, sb is really well positioned to check broadly and punish your excess (his range is uncapped, you can't peel flop too willy nilly). On top of that, the pot is about as small as we are going to see OTT, so concerns about giving free cards is lower and inducing has greater value.

Yes, OOP player should be x/r'ing liberally.

I could generalize to say ranges are super wide and pot is pretty small therefore this spot probably has more "poker" in it than almost any other. To play both positions here well is basically to have solved heads up limit Holdem. It is complicated.

How can we answer this if we don't even know if you (BB) have a 3bet range pf ?
