Hand 1 -- I think it is close between calling and re-raising pre, but I don't think it matters much either way. I'm more inclined to call against players who are power limping the button here with strong hands, and more inclined to raise against a button limper who is decapitated. I think you played it fine.

Hand 2 -- SB should never have AK here, but you could be getting freerolled on the turn by like KQdd, or possibly hands like K8dd, depending on how many suited kings SB is playing. Seems hard for SB to not have at least a king. I wouldn't expect HJ to have AK unless he's making a terrible slowplay on the turn. So I think whether to call or cap the turn is a question of whether the risk of getting freerolled by the SB is worth the extra bet from the HJ.

River is gross because HJ is playing like he has a flush draw, but folding for one bet is a disaster.

In the first hand, I would bet the turn and probably barrel river. And ya, raising vs. calling pre is pretty neutral I think.

In the second hand, I would put in another raise on the turn. We are still pushing equity 3way in almost all reasonable scenarios, and HJ doesn't seem to be going anywhere. The river is gross, but what can you do other than call and pray?

Hand 1: Don't like preflop but whatever. Bet turn with the FD and check decide river.

Hand 2: Nice hand.
