The CO seems to be a TAG but he has not been at the table long so I have no specific reads.

CO opens, folded to me and I 3 bet AdJs in the SB, BB folds and the CO calls.

Both options are totally fine / not worth worrying about. If forced to stereotype I would assume players in CO's spot fold turn too often so maybe slight preference to bet? It gets tricky on a bunch of rivers regardless if you check/call or bet/call here.
