Do these games include limit? I do know 2 people who play them.

The 80 game is terrible, the 40 is better but just getting worse everyday honestly.

Very small sample, but I played both the 40 and 80 games when I was in town a few months ago. Both games were very soft but obviously lineup dependent.

I actually have no idea what they play in any Bay Area private/home games. Figured I could interest them in some LHE but I'd be down if they prefer NL or PLO or weird wild card dealers choice **** or whatever. Most of them are recreational players having a good time/networking, shouldn't be terribly hard to be competitive in the game. Especially a game that's like 5 GS Warriors, Chamath, Hellmuth and me or something. If nothing else, I'd bet the drink skanks would be pretty hot!

Is there any club/room in the bay that will cater to a semi-private game? I know the law might not allow it but in another CA city we are able to do it with very cooperative floor staff. We all just show up after texting each other and it works out well.

I guess I'd be down to have a 'host' title or something if it were required but it'd be easier if it were just informal and we did it.

I prefer playing in casino's a lot of times, especially for big money and with people I don't know really well. Also nice to have pro dealers/food etc.
