Advanced strat question. UTG is currently stuck $50. It's 2-7 and he opens UTG, it's folded to me in the BB and I have an 8 and 4 paint cards. If I fold he's about 80% to book a $10 win and lock it up, if I play and lose he's 100% to quit, if I play and win he'll keep playing till even or other. We...

If someone is seriously the type to "lock up" a $10 win in a 40/80 game, do you really want to go out of your way to keep him in the game? Who's next up on the list?

I'm guessing it isn't like it is his first down, more than likely this player was down 2+ racks and is ready to bolt at any chance of a win.

Here's how it played out. The game had been going for about 15 min and I was late so I missed the first 2 orbits. I didn't know what he was in for so I made a highly exploitive fold. Had I realized he had $1,950 to start the hand I would have called. He announced "well I think I'll lock up my $10 win" and snap quit.

I thought about this and think it may be tough becusze he's going to be calling on the end at a very high frequency, think fur coat dilemma but replace fur coat with getting to book a win and quit which is prob worth like 3 for coats.
