Full table 40-80. I opens LJ with 99. A good player 3-bets at button. His preflop 3-bet range is definitely wider than average in this spot, such as 44, A5s...

I call to see flop, 753. I check-raise after his cbet and he calls. Turn is T. I bet, he raises, and I call, thinking I wold fold a river card of Ace or club and call the others. Sounds like a plan?

i'd call flop and plan to raise good turn. i'd call down after T hits.

Wouldn't fold on a club just in case you're beating some of his value range (88, 7x suited hands, 86 suited?). Also he could just have some random bluffs and the pot is big.

+1. after calling turn, i'd be pretty committed to any river.

actually i think raising flop is good. like a range of set of 77, 88-qq and t9cc-qjcc. and i'd delay c/r aa-kk set of 55's, backdoor heart draws, qjo and worst k's no fd every so often. that's the only balanced strategy i could come up with for flop and turn.

If given the choice, I'd put AA-KK in the flop C/R range so I can either pound the flop or b/3b the turn.

I'd just fast play this flop with my value hands and draws especially since I'm not 4 betting anything here pre flop. An exception would be if this guy always bet the turn. In this case I would be going for more thin but appropriate value with a sprinkling of bluffs.

you need hands to balance your turn semi bluffs and aa-kk block the hands he might check back on turn.

As played I would call any river.

Would play exactly as played by you OP. I'm bad at delay c/r OOP but is probably a play I would consider but not vs solid LAGTAG although I may on some frequency but not on this board with 99
