There was some discussion of this in NVG (L O L) and I wanted to get ppls thoughts here. This has been edited due to Brian saying Grinder was OTB. What say you all?

It's been a long time since I've played with Grinder but 3b was correct back then so I assume it's good.

Rast's 3 bet with KQ against a button raise is being criticized? Seems like a pretty standard 3 bet to me.

Most good LHE players never 3b the BB hu. Some certainly do.

Vs MM it is most def standard.

rast: in a tournament (i'm not a tourney player), isn't conserving chips important? i.e. more important than value raising MM (who is a sticky player i presume and going to put pressure on turn/river appropriately) in this case? so i think call bb here and then check call down from there is better than 3betting and hoping for either a flop/turn fold or a good flop.

mizrachi: TT/99/88. if he checks the turn he's basically calling all rivers so he decided to bet the turn instead. don't see too much wrong w/ how he played it as rast could easily have K flush draw and maybe he is a crazy player and 3bs the T9ss or something, who knows. mizrachi also could have just spazzed out w/ like KJs or JTs or QTs or something for some reason, again, who knows lol. mizrachi could even have something as low as like 44 lol. he may know rast wouldn't 3b big pairs for value or something (though given he 3b kq i'm sure rast is balanced and uses the value part of his range for just that).
