Hey Guys,

I used to play High Stakes Limit Holdem but I havent played a single hand for over 3 years now and cashed out all my money I had online.

Just saw that Poker Stars Support emailed me 4 weeks ago saying:

[...] PokerStars has become aware of a situation involving a violation of our Terms of Service, to the potential detriment of other players. You participated in games that were under consideration in this case and as a result you may have been adversely affected.

In a case such as this it is our policy to confiscate the balances of the offender(s) and for PokerStars to add funds where appropriate. This compensation pool is then distributed to players potentially affected in as fair a way as possible.

To confirm your credit, please log onto your PokerStars account, go to the 'Cashier' screen and click the 'History' button. Your share will be shown as "ADMWINADJ PURCHASE", followed by the amount of the credit. [...]

I dont have my password anymore (a miracle that I found the one for 2+2), i got rid of the number generator thingi, closed moneybookers etc...
So it would be quite a hassle just to log in to check how much money it is.

So i thought maybe someone here who is also affected knwos more about this case (mainly the name of the fraudulent account. If its KPR i start to get my **** together immeadiately so I can get an idea about how much money this might be about.

Anyone?

Is it not possible to simply reset your password?

I doubt it.
If I remember right i needed a password, a pin number and the number from the number generator (forgot the term) to log in.
As I have none of the 3 there be at least the whole procedure with passport, utility bill etc.
I also moved last time i logged in.

But even if logging in would be easy, I am very curious who the cheater is, and Stars will definetly not help me with that.

Thanks for the info Jama!
Stars support was extremly helpful.
In my case its just a few hundred bucks but I am quite sure no other site would have handled it so professionell.

Speaking of it: Did you or anyone you know ever got a compensation for the Darren Woods fraud?
Just wondering if I never heard from Ipoker or 888 because I was extreemly lucky and won in a handful high limit games where he played 2 accounts at the same time. Or if they just dont care at all.

I got 120k from 888. I believe my refund was the biggest, a bunch of other guys got like 10-20k each.

Nothing from Ipoker.

Ok, Thats good to know. I remember asking 888 if they are going to refund players, but they didnt want to answer.

Actually not sure if he even made money on ipoker. He lost quite a lot playing a 300/600 session with his 2 accounts with Kagome and me.

I got 2k. I sent 2 cents to honeybee and the transfer was succesful. Does it mean its not him?

Also, I played a few hundred hands against avd7a in 2014
