Had this little gem today at the 20 at Commerce. I think one of you was in the 1 seat at this table but I'm not sure.
3-4 limps, button raises, SB cold calls, I call with J
8 in the BB. Everyone else calls.
Flop: 8

SB checks, I lead, 4-5 callers.
Turn: 8
I lead, UTG+2 middle-aged tagfish raises, folds to me. I tank/3-bet. He calls.
River: 3
I bet, he calls.
I say "I probably sucked out on you" and table my hand and he slams over the J
6 thinking it's a chop. It was probably the most confused I've ever been in a long while at the poker table. It's funny that even if he had J 8 he still wouldn't have chopped. I'll use the $180 wisely, bud.

I just remember looking up laughing my arse off knowing that hand would somehow end up in this thread. It was especially funny because I think he convinced the dealer for a second it was his pot and then you go "wait wait, thats nothing..." hahaha
PS - I called you down soooo light in the KK hand when I 3bet out of the blind when it came T high. I play bad...def should fold to turn raise. I played so bad....lucky to get out of there only down 500 when all was said and done. I think you got the table change before I really got out of control. Dude in the 4 seat prob is reading this also. He got at least an extra $200 from me that should still be in my pocket...

A hand I played good, if I do say so myself:
I open AKo UTG, loose-horrible calls, decent semi-regular 3-bangs OTB and (worse) one of the good playing female Asian dealers calls from the SB. I figure I need some major sucking power to win this hand.
Flop:
QJ3(?)-off. It gets checked thru so hahaha, Button has the same hand I do but he's too skeered to bet it.
Turn:
8 not a SB checks, I bet, loose guy folds, Button calls and SB calls so hahahaha, SHE has AK also!
River:
Q Check, bet, fold, fold.
Boy, I play good sometimes.

I get KK UTG. I should just throw them away but, no, I raise like a dope. The same loose-horrible from the above hand calls and another guy calls.
Flop:
Q-9-7. Pretty good, huh? That's what you think. I bet, LH raises, the other guy folds. I'm supposed to 3-bet and lead the turn bec. LH has A-Q a ton of the time right? That's what you think. That play is for suckers. The proper play is to fold but I'm not good enough so I just call down like, well, like a bad player and get shown the Q-9o.
Somebody has put a voodoo curse on my Kings for sure.
