Not exactly answering the question, but I showed down ten high against queen high(?) and won the pot, when queen high turbo mucked when I called. After dealer dutifully mucked his hand, I opened and he proceeded to tilt the rest of the session. He claims queen high, and I have no reason to not believe him.

Ditto, and I feel good about it, cuz I mean if I can call with jack high he's polarized right? Only feel owned if he shows something medium strength.

this actually reminds me of the time i valuebet jack high against the dude in a heads up pot and got called by ten high. or maybe it was ten high against 9 high. regardless, it was brilliant.

EDIT: 10 high confirmed

4th nut Q high against top full.

EDIT: LOL. It's reassuring that Petri and DD have basically done the exact same.

Definitely called with King high against quads.

Just got kids to sleep, at Aria, is there anything good to do/eat in this place? Other than my wife, that is.

I've also seen her put in like 8BB on paired board w nut straight aka "Broadway" vs pf 3 bettor. Seen her fold the best hand or a chop a handful of times.

2/5 NL. Very nice poker room, soft games. Profit. Didn't eat there.

Great chairs, but I hate the end seats because of the huge table legs. I have to sit in the 1, 10, 4-7 seats.

Only played there once and sat in the 4 or 5 seat. But I hate the 1 seat at any casino, so that's standard.

Damn.. was just about to post this exact same thing.

Yesterday I got to crack some dude's quad 7s with a T hi straight flush..lol Too bad he only had ~1 BB on the turn and got it in drawing dead with 2nd set. I tabled my hand and then he said "LOL... knew you had a flush! QUADZ!!!" He flipped out when the dealer started pushing the pot to me. I took him ~2 minutes to put 2 and 2 together.

Dennis Phillips on TV. Seen him on HSP and PAD on my tivo last few nights. Not that I don't like him but it must be hugely -ev for him to play these games. I assume/hope he is fully staked by pokerstars.

if you buy a keurig pm me first with an email address, I send it in and we both get 2 free boxes of kcups after your initial purchase. I also would be happy to tell you what the models are, I just this week got mine.

Avoid the coffee shop; food is way overpriced and not very good.

Sage is very very good so long as you bring your sense of adventure or are already somewhat epicurious.

played super fun game today 3 handed 75 HOS+25/25 1k cap nl holdem. I played awful in the cap nl, DD played very well. I played very well in the O and I think DD might have mild brain damage when it comes to O. There were some hands where he got away with bluffs I shouldn't have let him in holdem and a couple funny ones I got away with that I probably shouldn't. It was a surprisingly not super swing session for any of us.

Go to Serrano, and whatever else you have, have the pata negra ham. This ham is to prosciutto what champagne is to club soda (and I love prosciutto).

some reason i decided to play poker instead of go to bed, my session went from +2k to -9k to +6k only to end back at -9k. no witty comments or funny antidotes, just brutal brutal grinding.

Under those circumstances, I'd find REM sleep pretty hard to come by. How'd it work out for you?

I told my wife if I ever had to play NL I'd quit poker. I might have been serious. They only had 4-8, and half a list for a 8-16 game. The actually had a 9-18? Omaha running, which I would have taken if not with wife. Instead we found a nice bar, but turned out to be a high limit room and since I didnt want to play $500 a hand blackjack ($100 would have been no prob), I opted instead to pay $20 per margarita. They were so good it was almost worth it.
