Leaving for Vegas in the morning, be there for a week, staying at Caesars. Doubt, once again, that I'll have much time for poker but hopefully one or two nights I'll stray to Bellagio for some 30/60 or whatever. Let me know if you're around, etc.

i'm always here. but i can't be doing anything socially for a while.

commerce 60 is rigged and i don't care about anything anyone has to say to the contrary.

never had so many 5+ hour sessions in a game where i never have a 10BB upswing on my way to the rail.

/end runbad rant

You need to start with a decent signal in order to boost it, and the best reception is outside your house. It came with a big antenna that needs to be mounted on the side of my house, a long stretch of coax cable to connect to the booster, which must be installed at least 20 feet away so they don't interfere with each other. So a hole must be drilled in my stucco, and coax needs to be snaked inside the house to a location close to an electrical outlet and central enough so the boosted signal permeats most of the house, without pissing off the wife by having visible coax snaking down a wall or across a floor.

Plus I had to get the $400 dual band booster because I have a ****ing iphone.

HB, DC, pope or boc-

Looks like Spring Break is gonna be an all boys trip consisting of my boy, his pal and me. Both boys are 15 and are serious- I mean really serious- skateboarders. They've told me that Scottsdale and Phoenix are replete with "awesome" places to skate. Unfortunately, they don't have any idea where they're located and neither do I. Now the locations aren't all that important since I'll have Sam for the week and he can take them where they need to go.

My question has to do with lodging. The Fairmont was fine, but I don't want to get two rooms and leave them to their own devices. (Yes, they would be "inclined" to get a couple of hookers and/or strippers when I'm doing the pokering. No boc, they don't need your recommendations. ) I liked the Scottsdale Athletic Club and could get a two bedroom condo there which would be fine and it's close to CAZ. The only downside is that it's somewhat limited in its offerings of resort-type amenities.

Sam suggested the Hilton Resort in Scottsdale where I could get a villa. Do any of y'all know anything about it or have other suggestions?

Thanks for any info.

I think this link will be very helpful...

http://www.azskateparks.com/

Scottsdale Park appears to be close by.

I have heard great things about Chandler Park, and appears to be over double the size of the Scottsdale one.

The Mesa one looks decent as well, but it about the same drive as the Chandler one from Scottsdale, so between those two, I would pick Chandler.

The boys thank you for the skate info. What about the lodging?

I am not the person to ask about the lodging, which is why I didn't answer it...sorry I can't help you out.

Having checked out the Hilton's website I'd have to say Sam knows his stuff. I had no idea it was so nice and you certainly couldn't go wrong staying there.

Which day are we going skateboarding?

LOL.

No... on both accounts. I'm just a country boy from down South and Sam, who lives in Phoenix, has been my driver the last couple of times I've been to Scottsdale. He's a Slovac immigrant and a really great guy. He's also a pretty big sob that can keep a couple of testosterone-infused boys in line when I'm not around.

My 17 yo nephew, who went with me last year, maintains that Sam is also a "babe magnet." He found that handy as well.

I mean that's gotta be a push especially since Leo claiming non-baller status boarders on a brazen lie.

Sounds like a lot of work and expense just to be able to use a phone in your house.

They have these things called landlines...cost like $10-$15 a month...doesn't require drilling holes. Might be too advanced for some people here.

LC hand for same game as my wtf river post: UTG raises, rly rly bad LAG(RRBL) calls next in and I think I'm the only person who mucks. 7-8 to flop.

Flops is 89sQh Pf raiser bets, RRBL snap raises, 4 people cold call incl pf raiser.

Turn card is 89sQh 8
-SB leads, pf raiser mucks, RRBL calls, now one of MP cold callers raises. SB and RRBL call

River is Ax checked to MP bets, SB calls and RRBL now check raises.

Mp calls and SB tank calls.

RRBL has the AA
MP flopped the straight w J10
SB has rando 8x

UTG orginal pf raiser(who bet the flop into 7 people) notes the one outer cuz he had AKdd

I've had that happen like a year ago. Couldn't figure anything out. Backed up some stuff and uninstalled>reinstalled.
