I agree, and that’s how you’ll be able to tell the difference between a .5bb/h loser vs winner. If someone goes to showdown revealing that they opened something like T9off in early position even once over the course of an hour there’s very little they can do postflop to compensate. unless the other guy who isn’t showing down stupid hands is making horrific and unusual mistakes in spots you can’t see as an observer, it’s pretty clear cut who the winner and who the loser is.

I'd say its mostly 1 and a little bit of 3. Anyone who's been successful at online LHE in the last 5-10 years should have a nice leg up on solid live players.
