Only problem is I don't think you can balance this donking range and it opens you up to over folding or helping your opponent get away early.
I think this spot is interesting. Calling down 2.5 big bets seems -EV. Maybe check call, check call, fold some rivers?
I should have titled this "I never donk here". I'm not overly concerned with balance. It's not my intention to create a donking range. I'm just focused on this particular part of my range on this board against two other players. I have a feeling donking may be the more profitable play, but I'm not sure about that.
I agree that calling down seems -ev. I also think we can be put into tough spots...It goes bet and raise to us on the flop. This is a scenario were we are going to make mistakes due to the marginalness of our hand. It seems that if we do make a mistake, it will cost less by donking(maybe).
I think live you can get a decent read by how the BB responds to the donk. I think it kind of disarms him. You can thwart his intention to power through the hand. It may prevent him from over aggressing here in the future.
