I've been watching so many videos on LHE nowadays (pretty late to the party...i know lol)

And this one pro in particular is the f**** nuts. The Bryce.

Even reading some of his threads on here has really helped my game. Amazing what impact he has even years after his era. Dude was/is a beast..

I became an instant fanboy i can not lie. I saw his interview on Pokerstatic and it sounded like he was in a rough place during the 2008 crises and bit going forward but getting by coaching, some mortgages, etc

But not much afterwards..i guess if i made 2mil in a year I'd cash out and go far far away from this industry too..but just general curiosity on how hes doing since he basically vanished

Classic; The greatest trick the Devil ever pulled was convincing the world he didn't exist. And like that, poof. He's gone.

He is in grad school, I guess because he recognized that Limit holdem was contracting.

I believe he is doing well and doesn't play as much anymore. He was one of those people that was at the forefront of a form of poker, like any industry, and gave his knowledge out to others. I had already been playing the games w/o his videos, and they actually hurt my winrate quite a bit as he informed others.

I too though, followed his lead and coached for a while. He was very selfless in giving away that information, and it was hard to hear about his tough times. I'm not sure if he plays still, but he certainly pushed the game forward a giant leap with his instructional videos and deserved any accolades or praise that anyone sent his way.

His vids are works of art that should preserved in a vault for posterity. That said, I think he played too lose pf in multiway games. His 6 max full tilt vids often made me cringe.

Believe he just lost 100k in a cool sounding WSOP main event prop bet to Limon.

Bryce had an epic 10-month run in which he won around $2.5 million playing HU LHE; however, most of this was at very high stakes, particularly 500/1k and 1k/2k, against a small pool of opponents (particularly David Benyamine), and as such his results aren't as strong evidence that he is an all-time great as people want to suggest. Before his run he was a break-even rakeback grinder at 2/4-5/10 for several years. After his run he left the game for a while, then returned to 4-table 15/30 where he was a roughly-breakeven player. He was a regular poster on 2+2 before and during his run, which gave him a halo-effect on this site as a "hometown hero" of sorts, an effect which still persists to this day.

They were and I'd assume still are on cardrunners. He also did a video blog that might partially explain his departure from poker. This is the most I know. Haven't been to cardrunners for several years.

just did a search for fun to see if there was any and personally i cant find any(i dont have a sub just checking out the site) there is a very limited number of videos and the latest one is from 2014 and the rest is 2013 and earlier. Its sad that no training site puts an effort into Limit videos anymore. I hate that all the videos are very old even on deucescracked.

I just renewed my CR subscription and I counted all the videos by Bryce and there's 47 of them. From 2008 - 2011.

As for LHE content. I agree it's sad. The only new videos are from RunLikePanda on RunitOnce but hes only put out 2 of them and its only for the elite membership which runs you about $100/mo. Pretty disappointing for the LHE community But I mean nowadays with competition the way it is, it's not surprising no one wants to share any strategy.

I think if anyone want's to get better their best bet is to get HEM/PT4 a license for Crev and maybe Odds Oracle and just go from there.

I think if you wanna progress in game and you are playing medium and high limits you should permit yourself to buy elite membership or pay services of a coach.

Im 99% I saw him talking about in a video blog about quitting poker and getting into real estate. As a parttime pro for years and now finishing uni I must say poker should really be a hobby and not a job for any over medium intelligence with some ambition.

Im personally looking forward playing in Florida this new year for fun with income ive generated instead of this pressure I had before 2013 thinking about hourly rates and bad swings that perhaps made me loose money for a month causing maybe 5 months breakeven no matter if I understood variance is what happens and it is all about the longterm.

What is Bryce's Username. Id like to read his posts.
I'm also interested in watching his videos. Ive already found his YOU TUBE videos. Are his other videos available on any training sites? If not are there any training sites besides R.i.O. that have limit holdem content?
Thank you
GG
