Your hypothetical range for hero turn range is AQ+? That's way too narrow.
In my experience, unless you have a really strong read on what villain opens, I'd err on the side of it being too wide. So many times I've seen good players open in early positions with JTo, K6s, A8o, etc.
You misunderstood my post. I'm looking at ninefinger's range from villain's POV. Since that's the crux of the discussion of what he's actually xr on the turn.
I certainly bet something like 88 on the turn here but I don’t have many bluffs in my range so he should be doing fairly poorly against my range and this should c/c many turns, no?

if you're not calling the raise with 88-JJ then it doesn't benefit us to x/r you with K9s here, right?
What's the worst hand you b/c turn with and is he at least reasonably aware of this?
