20/40 live 9 handed.

I open 7s7s UTG, next in 3 bets, next guy calls, TAGish player in BB calls, I call.

Jd8d4c....It gets checked through.

Jd8d4c3c BB bets, I raise intending to check river UIP, all fold, BB calls.

Jd8d4c3cAd....Checked to me......Should I check and hope for the best or bet and try to get him off a better pair?

I don't hate the turn raise with 77 (love it with 7s7s, no showdowns, please!) but do you really raise KdTd/QdTd/Td9d in the same spot? Do you not cap KdQd? see how few hands you're repping?

I'd expect bb to have Jx and pocket pairs and occasionally A8s/87s and maybe a few diamond draws. I'm not sure that raising is best, especially when you're highly likely to see the river for one bet and do not have to pay off a rivered big overcard or a diamond.

As played, check back and be happy to occasionally drag the pot.

I check the river. Maybe I’m wrong but I don’t think a pair of 8s that makes it to the river is folding very often here

I open KdTd, QdTd usually from UTG....sometimes 9dTd. I'd think 9dTd and maybe QdTd would be a reasonable semibluff on the turn. My post flop range is still uncapped so I could have some Jacks, 88's, 99's. I also don't think the average 20 player is a great hand reader. In fact, I think most are very poor hand readers after witnessing missed easy value bets and horrible bluff attempts.

Since this pot was 3 bet pre I think raising the turn is best. I feel like I am ahead a decent amount of time. The two players to my left will be calling a single bet often on this turn. Eliminating them greatly increases my chances of winning. I also think raising can help to prevent me from getting bluffed off my hand on bad rivers. I'm not concerned about BB 3 bet bluffing since I don't think he has it in him and again I could easily have a hand I'm not folding.

If it was just two bets pre I could see just calling as the better option.
