At $20-$40 how much is the win rate per hour?

This applies to a solid player vs an average table. How many BBs per hour should one expect to make?

In California, with a $6 drop, in a full nine-handed game that runs at 40 hands per hour, you should expect to lose 1.33 big blinds/hour. DUCY?

Well there's no answer to this question because the answer is: it depends.

If you're in a game with 9 nominees for WOAT, you'll probably make a ton of money.

If you're in a game with a bunch of Stars 30/60 regs, you'll probably get crushed.

The average player is going to be losing at a rate of whatever the amount of money leaving the table divided by number of players is. So at Foxwoods ($5/hand max @ 35 hands an hour), we can say that around $175 is leaving the table, as not all hands hit max rake, but a 6th sometimes comes out for a tip.

-$175/10 = -$17.50. In a 20/40 game, that's a WR of -0.4375 BB/hr. People will be normally distributed around that (maybe not so much as the ones expected to log the greatest # of hours are likely the ones on the right side of the distribution, while the ones on the left are likely to log the least).
