Yes, I understand pot odds. And as stated, I would call one bet. But there are definitely some players I would fold even for one bet, because I am extremely close to 100% putting them on the flush draw.

The pot is way too big to fold for one bet closing the action. They could have two pair or AJ or whatever. It’s different if they raise a bet because that changes their range.

I would check and see what the action is. If the good player first to act bets I'm probably not overcalling, and if I know him well and he always has a flush I might fold. If one of the donks bets I'd call one bet, but I wouldn't be thrilled about it.

When "I" check my hand is likely an ace.. enough muppets will try to blank me off my hand on river, rather let them bet than fold worse.

Well, that is disappointing results, no real info. He did play it weird though; I realized I was thinking you had said the BB was solid or something to that effect, but you really just said he was "decent". I guess decent is relative to the monkeys

I do wonder if you would picked up any calls on the river, or even a bluff raise.

The more I think about this, the only thing I can say with confidence is that ninefingers needs to get better at hitting full houses.

I like check call one no matter what, but folding 2 cold. If I sense a need to play a strat that prevents ev loss to cooperative opponents, I'm not interested in this game. I dont think 66 beats any hands in a good river value raising range. I think the parlay of both a bettor and a raiser having a worse hand requires both opponents involved to have far more worse hands than what this situation supports in a 4 way full strategy ev distribution.

id bet river, turn up my spa relaxation music through my headphones, and call a raise.

BB played his hand fine. i could see raising the turn for a free SD with his hand as well, obv folding to a 3bet. risky to do that though as you dont want to fold the best hand.

Use some sort of rng in your mind. Bet and then Call 25%-50% of time assuming this spot against recs they won't bluff raise enough ever. This isn't optimal/rational but it will put your mind at ease and lower your -ev call. I would guess this spot getting bluff raise is closer to 0%( this might change in future but I doubt it for lhe for various reason). Even against adventurous reg that capable of this you can take a note and adjust against them. Remember you can always adjust against pop tendency but pop tendency can never adjust against you.

Population tendency. The concept is you can exploited a certain tendency/tell but let say a reg in your game notice it and can exploited you. You can adjust by not taking that line vs him. But there no way he can tell others at the table to adjust against you. hence in this spot even if regs take advantage by bluff raising non 0% of time it won't cause you to be that much of -ev by always folding vs other.

+1 fyi game is special with 1-2 whale / LAG that will bluff river high % with air.

Bet/call > chk/call on river for me as I don't mind donating to eco system & whales
