I've played 1 orbit and shown down the nuts in one hand and another hand I got caught bluffing. Villain 1 (V1) is the host, I've seen him 3 bet a variety of hands like 8h6h in middle position vs a manic and OMC. Villain 2 (V2) Old asian guy that came from the 20/40 game.

I raise UTG+2 with AhKd, V1 reraises, V2 calls I cap. Both Villains call.

FLOP: QsQc4s.

I bet both Villains call.

TURN: Qh

I bet, V1 raises, V2 folds, I call.

RIVER:Ks

I check, V1 bets, I raise, V1 three bets, I call.

Is the turn call bad? Is the river a check call or check raise fold?

prefer donk/call river. he will check back most of the hands you beat. Your range has a lot of AK.

Against less active players, check call river. You capped pre: people don't raise unless they can beat KK.

Im not sure about the turn bet. Is it value? Is it a bluff? I also think folding the turn once you bet would be the worst misplay of all. I would lead river as played. A check raise is beyond ambitious.

I donk/call river and don’t think any other line is close. C/c is a distant second and c/r/c is way too much action. Rest of the hand is fine.

I would check/call river. I think he has Qx a ton here and maybe some AA. I think it is way more likely he plays Qx like this than a mid pocket pair, enough to offset the combinatoric discrepancy. If he wanted to be aggressive with a mid pocket pair he would have done so on the flop, not on the turn.

Agree, I think the turn bet is sub-optimal. We may fold out some small pocket pairs, however those should be relatively small parts of our opponents ranges given the preflop action. Medium pocket pairs aren't folding so we're only folding out worse and getting called by better. We really dislike the two calls on the flop so trying to catch cheaply on the river seems to be a better way to realize our equity in this hand.

As played, or after check calling the turn, I like lead / call on the K river.

I'm not sure I like the turn bet either, but there is something to be said for folding out worse hands. That's maybe 6 outs they had to fold that you denied their equity.

I'd rather catch bluffs from those hands planning to call most rivers as well. If 87s gets there, so be it. I think it's important to have a check calling range on this turn else people might be able to hero fold 66 and stuffs though that seems as ambitious as the hero's river xr.

on 2nd thought, with this specific turn, i think bet/calling turn is alright and having a pretty easy fold on river ui.
