2023 will be final year of LHE as a profitable game. Wait I said the same thing a year ago. Keep hanging on people, were survivors. NLE might be the cadillac, but we're still driving a 1967 Porsche and keeping it road worthy.

No way this is the last year LHE is profitable. LHE will die off due to lack of interest before it reaches the point of not being beatable, assuming stakes keep up with rising rake/time.

That's actually what I meant. The games aren't getting tougher, they're just getting fewer. Either way I was joking. I thought 2022 would be the end but we keep hanging on. Still, those of us millennials or younger who make a living playing live LHE, our days are numbered. Live LHE will def die before we get to retirement age. That's why I went back to uni to finish my degree for alternative career options. I'd say we have 4 or 5 years before there's not enough action to grind out good hours, and another few more years till it's no longer spread daily, anywhere.

Anticipating maka trip report.

I'm learning harmonica, but the one I have is in key of E major which isn't useful for blues and rock n roll with few exceptions. Should have got a steel drum.

Nice, yeah you need to buy the right harp to play anything. Just as a guitarist the A key is the easiest blues key to play in so I would go with whatever lets you play in that key.

I was super drunk last night and there was a guy that was raising 90% of hands that dumped over 3k in that game. I probably got most of it but dumped to other players because I played extremely loose so I could battle with him.

Trip Report France:
Gained 20 pounds of fat eating Foie Gras, escargot, drinking wine too often.

PS: Sour from Vikings losing vs Giants 2023. I'm sure friends from NY are happy though

Tldn have played 0 poker live or online in awhile.
Ninefingershuffle posts make me eager, still not enough time

Full WSOP schedule is out. For those of you that go out for the LHE tournaments, what do you think about the new schedule? The $1,500 and $10,000 are about where they usually are in the schedule (maybe a week earlier, June 1 and June 8), but now the $3,000 6max is several weeks after the other two tournaments (June 25).
