There's a lot of money in playing this/similar situations well...and it's not easy to arrive at answers. There's no public info or books. Only speculation.

Because of that you're going to find it hard getting a great response.

All solve derives from rational post flop plays. Playing rational at 6 max probably will make you max 1.5/BB due to fact your low % combos wont be similar to what solvers tell you. If you are able to then you must be an idiot ex bunch of guys at nl makes a living making X more either from cheating w RTA or playing highstake, combination of both. Here a more reasonable way, observe what others are doing and explore, you can add in or exploited their mistakes. Probably will make a lot of bad mistakes but lhe is very tiny -/+ each decision in those spots anyway.

There are also better edge in emotional control and understanding human biases which probably will add in another +.5/BB edge. Always been a fan of Euros guys they are more practical and have build in rationality look at some of the guys that able to win not only at lhe but plo/nl ex. RuinF, Stickman, etc.

On another note games been quite worse due to regs getting better and pure rec enjoying plo more. Lhe isn't really a great online game variance is too low vs edge too big for regs. They end up busting too quick before that dopamine rush of upswing. It a great great for live though and reverse w plo/nl.

I just read in the LC thread of another forum here that CAZ has introduced true NLHE. What's the over/under on when limit hold'em dies there?

Hopefully never. We had a $500 cap for years and a very robust 2/3 and 3/5 economy that has still kept the 20/40 and 40/80 games alive. I really don't see this changing much. They even lowered the max buy-in for the 2/3 game from $600 to $300 to try to protect it.

On their flyer they list a 50/100 game, which is LOL because the biggest chip we have is $500.

CAZ has a bigger limit player pool than most places. It's been the same regulars who pretty much only play limit for many years. I haven't seen any difference in limit games since NL started. It may start going away in ten years when we start losing players due to old age. Obviously as these players go away they will not be replenished with new players since they will gravitate to NL.

re: ignition. correct. its insane how soft the games are. despite several changes in jurisdictions etc, it remains a gold mine of money
