I don't think you're winning this too often, but that said, both check/folding and check/calling don't feel profitable here as it allows him to play perfectly (other than miss a bet w AK). A jack favors your range more than his (AJ, KJ, QJ, JT, JJ), so even though I don't normally like turning AQ into a bluff, I'd fire one more here. You're really only targeting 12 combos of AK, maybe 1-2 combos of other club draws that didn't make top pair or a straight, 55, a hand like A5s,A6s, or maybe he'll find a fold with A7s, A8s

If you check, he's winning with all hands that beat you and I think he has enough bluffing combos to make folding a pot this size is a mistake

Failing to 4bet AQs PF in this spot is awful. You have a huge hand. Grab the free money. Your 4betting range must be something like AK and JJ+ which is just terrible. It should be more like 88+, AQ+, and 2 suited broadways. Going even wider is fine too. You can really go bonkers in this spot if you want to. The rec player obv has a weak range and the LAGTAG's isn't going to be especially strong.

I like the river c/f. The only bluff combos I can think for villain are AQ and AK since we block small suited aces and KcQc. Betting to fold out AK and AQ also makes sense, but my intuition tells me that the pot isn't quite big enough to bother.

Board and action appear right except for the river, which was definitely not a ten. I think it was some low card. Also think c/f river is correct on this runout.

Obv. 4 bet preflop is fine, but there is some value in not range splitting. There is also some value in being about to c/r the flop to get the whale out.

I used to follow the “don’t split ranges” mantra. I still think it can be good. But ranges are just too wide in these scenarios to be leaving value on the table. Plus good players like you aren’t auto-firing continuation bets anymore, so we risk losing even more value
