How do you handle this? How do you handle this?

HJ is loose and passive pre. He has cold called a ton and I have yet to see him 3 bet pre. He has CR the flop a couple times and showed top pair. He has only been at the table for 2 hours so I don't have a lot of info on him.

I open UTG with AdQh and only the HJ calls.

KdKc8s..I bet and he raises and I call. How far are you going here in this spot? How loosely are you peeling? AJ? AT? assume no back door flush.

KdKc8s7c...I check and he bets?

I typically call twice here. I often have six outs plus counterfeit outs if he has a small pair. I'd call down against a bluffy type. I haven't seen this guy bluff yet but its a small sample size.

I would have called the flop and check fold the turn. His most likely holding is a small or medium pair or an 8. Some suited 8 combo most likely. Very possible he has K, but most players prefer to call and raise turn. Once you brick the turn seems prudent to give up, since there are obviously no draws present that he could have been semi bluffing....seemingly well played.

this is a spot I find myself in often and have never really found a good default way to play it. Very player dependent but I think leaning towards folding is best until someone shows you they can do that with complete air
