To be fair my line doesn’t make much sense for value especially if you’re unaware of our dynamics. I would xr an ace vs this player, but vs most, especially in a tournament, you should lead your range.

Re: 2018 NC/LC THREAD - are we ever going to get a title?

I generally dislike cbetting QQ on Kxx boards against good opponents.

Maximally exploiting and learning GTO are not mutually exclusive.

I chuckle at people who call themselves 'feel players.' It's a euphemism for people who haven't put any work into studying.

Fastrolling is underrated. I've earned so many extra pots when people see my hand then muck the winner. So many pros insist on showing their hand in order, or sometimes even hold back their hand when it's their turn to show, because they don't want to give away extra information.

I like to be a di-- to snobby pros at a table. Some pros will show their winning hand face up for a second, collect the pot, then turn their hand over and throw it into the muck. My new counterdi-- move is to ask the dealer to clearly table the winning hand in the center so all players can see it.

My recent bot sim says to fold KK44-single suited on the button in FLO8. This is mindblowing to me.

Re: 2018 NC/LC THREAD - are we ever going to get a title?

Usually when my hand has been tabled and everyone else has mucked and the dealer is pushing me the pot, I turn my hand face down and throw it in the muck.

It's really just to save the dealer a step and help prevent box cards, I really don't care if people see my hand.

Re: 2018 NC/LC THREAD - are we ever going to get a title?

how many players for kk44? i could see the reasoning for 6max+. kk44 is speculative and relies on implied odds due to no real playabilty even hu ip w/out hitting a specific/limited board types. the more folds in front of you, the more ace-rich the deck is. this sort of becomes apparent in live poker, like if utg limps, and everyone limps around, the bb always seems to end up w/ a raising hand.

Re: 2018 NC/LC THREAD - are we ever going to get a title?

When my cards are up and another player turns up a hand that beats mine, I frequently will turn it back over to so the dealer has one less hand to worry about and to save time. I never turn the winning hand face-down and usually do not give it to the dealer until the pot is pushed to me.

Re: 2018 NC/LC THREAD - are we ever going to get a title?

Question about your o8 bot sims. My friend frequently texts me sim results and similar that I often thijk give false results do to the unrealized equity in o8. This often results in him under valuing strong A2 and strong low hands. For example, 99TJ has a for amount of equity on the 468 flop vs naked A2/A3 hands but in practice has 0% since it check folds flop 100%. Curious if your sims accclinr for stuff like this or do they just run out boards and compare equities. If so it’s helpful but often doesn’t tell the complete story.

I think poker on TV is generally unwatchable. How long do these people get to make a decision? Way too much hollywooding. Way too much trying to make the most of your 15 minutes of fame. Stop the stareing, you look like idiots. Is it illegal to fart on somebody during a tournament? That's whats gonna happen to you if you try to stare me down or take more than two minutes to make a decision. That being said, I don't play tournaments because they are super boring and annoying.

That being said, I did watch a little of the final table of the maim event and the pace has been ok. I wouldn't mind if that chatterbox would take a break from talking just a little bit but I do respect what he has overcome.

Open-fold or folding it in a limped pot? I thought the latter was pretty standard but it's hard to imagine a circumstance where I wouldn't open it OTB if folded to. Hands that can't make a low are terrible hot-and-cold, but I'd still play it in a pot likely to be HUIP.

Other day my local room had the "Ladies" final table on TV, down to 4-handed. Every all in hand, every single player at the table would stand up. A couple of the players would wander off screen like they were going to the restroom, the Poker Kitchen, or to hang out with spectators. Then after 45 seconds the dealer would bring a flop, and after 45 more seconds would bring the turn, then 45 more and the river.

I was told that this is the way that the WSOP works now because of TV. Seriously?

Safe to assume its 3 handed OTB FLO8. Haven't looked at flop sims yet. I do question the methodology of how bots generate their Preflop ranges. Could be the sim is terrible postflop and spitting out bad Preflop advice, but that's the best i got to go on. I extremely doubt 99TJ will fold on 468 to a single flop bet.

Can you please PM me info for o8 bot thing? If it's free or cheap, its something I'd like to play with. I'd pay more but I'm confident that folding kk44 otb is a catastrophic error so I would just like to have fun and make my own interpretations of what it generates

Seems like a pretty standard check fold. Maybee 246 is a better example but I’m also speaking in generalities, like facing an UtG raise not necessarily bb vs button 3 handed (even though that’s stil a fold).

What else can you do? Call flop and check fold every non 7/9 turn

It's not free, cheap, nor easy to find what you want sean. assuming he's talking about m onker. I haven't ran any o8 sims on it so I can't comment on anything related to o8. I just know that it can.

Everthing on TV is overly dramatized, especially "breaking" news!

Speaking of 15 minutes of fame....The fans in the gallery should only be allowed to scream their friends name once and then sit down and shut up.

I don't get all of the gushing over the supposed "great play". It's heads up. Aren't they supposed to be aggressive? Bluffy? Etc. How come these guy's are geniuses when they pull off a bluff but not considered idiots when they whiff? How does it take so long to call the river when you have a fairley strong hand, there are a bunch of missed draws, and your opponent is bluffy and you'll still have plenty of chips left if you lose? Do these guy's have to tank every single hand even if they are obviously not gonna play?

Speaking of soccer.....If the US had no oher sports and everybody played soccer, could you imagine guy's like Lebron, Westbrook, JJ Watt, Von Miller playing on the US team....Championship! And instead of the ridiculous fake injuries there would be very real damage caused by these beasts.
