Actually that’s a very good point. Though I think that chart already takes the dead money into account? Or is that the huhu oop defense range? Regardless I appreciate your posts.

it takes dead money and rake into account and but the key is that this is base on sim playing itself and finding the optimal strategy not base on defending base on pre flop math. Although my chart doesn't tell the full story there a key part missing but most people should have an idea.

I was confused about this too. I thought the 92.17% BB defense to BTN open referred to a huhu situation i.e. no dead money. Can you clear that up plz DJ? thx

I was in a giving mode but getting hnr 4 times by the same reg that reading this thread too much. I even said good game each time too. O btw just because you play 3/7/9 hands doesn't mean you can just quit without giving back the button. That scumbag

Sorry to hear that DonJuan.

Hopefully they implement something online where players are required to play X number of hands HUHU (100?) OR a certain amount of time/busting before quitting.

Thanks as always on your feedbacks and charts. Super useful for someone who does not have time or understanding on how to effectively study the game in detail like you, OnTheRail, etc does outside playing.

Think he really wants 2, 4, 6, or 8 hands, so that he doesn't give up a free BTN.

huhu and btn vs bb range looks the same except you can defend 52 in BB vs btn but folded in huhu. Also take out 94o in bb vs btn. BB are defending less when sb CC though even though the pot is bigger.

300/600 Badugi, Triple Draw, Stud 8, and LHE.

Some regs I've played 80/160 mix will last few times I went. A few known people from high stakes games. I'm not going to drop names, just to say they're all super chill. I was having a pretty good trip and just said eff it, worse thing that can happen is losing. Bought in for 20k and lost 10k. Won it all back playing blackjack.

Since I started playing again (18 hours so far). Zero AA, 1 KK lost, 3 QQ lost 2 of 3, 1 JJ lost, 1 TT lost.

Probably not even that unlucky in the great scheme of things but I really don't know how people grind the live games it's hard folding all day.
04-30-2018 , 02:42 AM
The bright side of live play is the players have been absolutely awful. The best player I've seen at the tables would probably be the worst in a typical online lineup. (I've been playing pretty ideal hours though, late Thursday/fri night)

Funny thing is the bad play seems to be contagious with some of these live players. The game was starting to get pretty boring and playing almost like online but then a couple horrible players joined the table and some of the players who previously had seemed to be playing reasonably opened up their starting hand ranges to a ridiculous degree and started playing terrible.

Adjusting badly is part of the bad play toolbox

Btw if anyone wondering why I am such a douche with constantly bragging about my result it goes way back to constantly getting big time by guys that use to crush lhe back in the day. I would ask for help or post something and get condescending advice or ignore. I remember asking 3-4 guys on this forum for stake and got rejected. I guess I got to thanks you guys for driving me to improve.

Actually I would say 99% of my success is because of my persistent not to give up right at the time when everyone else switch games/play live or give up on lhe due toughness. Just in time for new programs that comes out that actually show how GTO works. If I were to make a guess I would say KRP and his friend and Jesus has some sort of early version of gto program that was custom build for training/learning. It probably the best time to get into poker since there no guessing work anymore anyone that willing to put in the money and alone time studying is going to rise to the top

I do think it’s funny that most people attribute their success to some quality within themselves (very much within their control) when the reality is that we are all governed by the circumstances and happenstances of our lives. For better or for worse much of what we achieve or do not achieve, are capable or incapable of, comes down to chance.

And the assistance of/contributions by others, the point made (and IMO unfairly ridiculed) by Obama's "You didn't build that" speech.
