Just randomly looking at bravo now the available games are 5-10 NL or 2-400 mix in LA
2-5 or 75-150 at parx
You're cherry-picking the only mixed game on the entire east coast at the moment for this post. And it runs something like twice a week. So if you're not there for the start what are the chances you get in? And does 2-4 run every day at Commerce? You can play 2-5 NL with table selection at casinos everywhere.

There's an NL ladder and even 2/5ish stakes is enough to survive short-term; you can move up to 5/10 and 10/20-10/25 as you see fit.
5-10 NL is still only marginally less rare than mixed games, Bravo shows ~15 games this big running now in North America. 10-25+ NL is a rare beast outside of WSOP and maybe weekends at some big casinos (San Jose casinos notwithstanding, they're not on Bravo, I think Matrix has 10-25 several days a week). No real experience in these as I switched to LHE and mixed once I beat 2-5 at a steady clip, I'll still play 2-5 while waiting for other games and these are usually filled with terrible players.

I think your edge in 2-5 NL will be enormous, and I suppose you're likely to be one of the better players at 5-10. Your edge in mixed will be notably smaller since the stakes usually mean more serious players (not universal of course, but getting in the good games could be tough, check out Oscillator's thread in PGC, 10K on the Table).
I guess a lot boils down to where you live or are willing to move to play. If you were in CT I'd suggest becoming a stud expert, and quickly, before everyone at the 75 FW game dies of old age.
