That was a fantastic post! Thanks for sharing.

Guessing that the arson threat might be taken as a joke, but his location was a problem. No inside knowledge on any of that.

It is an amazingly funny rant and sad, as well. I always rooted for him.

I've played mid stakes LHE and mixed with Chau at Bellagio several times in the past few years

Was he rubbing his chest and belly with both hands as he said it?

He used to come up to San Jose from time to time and play in Bay 101.

Fun hand from 80:

UTG+1 raises, two cold calls, pops 3bets(!), I cap QQ from the CO. 6 players to a flop. Flop comes KQ5. Pops bets, I raise, everyone folds, pops 3 bets. I call. Turn 5, I call. River brick. I call and pray for Aces. Pops shows KK, I throw my queens face up, and pops jokes best hand all the way.

Somehow ended up playing 5 hours of 75 mix Saturday night / Sunday morning. Some noteworthy accomplishments included misreading my hand and folding a 65A pre-draw, and opening AKKJ 1s in Badugi because I thought we were in the O8 round.

But I ran good, so clearly I am expert .

Anytime! We are in the middle of a down-to-the studs remodel, so I’m always looking for reasons to not be home! I’ve been playing quite a bit since it started in September.

Little Gary AKA TuanLeeWannabe got trespassed from Bellagio today. Was playing with him in an overnight game and he got felted, said $1k behind but never pulled the money out and it was clear after a few hands he didn't have it. He owes me $260 now. When the floor said he couldn't play until he showed the money he lost his mind and started screaming obscenities at the floor. Security showed up and all hell broke loose. They dragged him to the ground and handcuffed him and had to tie him to a wheelchair. He was like 20 coronas in which isn't a problem for Gary generally. But yeah end of an era, he's been grinding there for like 20 years.

if this is who i think it is then i'm curious why u are referring to him as tuanleewannabe because TLW the FTP player actually played good(?)

Just from the experience of seeing this happen twice. Unless you're willing to accept winning imaginary money, it's better to hold the game or ask Mr. Felted to sit out. The casino, the dealer, and the chiprunner have no obligation to pay you. AFAIK, they will ask Mr. Felted to repay what's owed or get barred until it is repaid.

They are indeed the same and he wasn’t as good on ftp as you think imo

He plays fine sober and terrible drunk and was driving the action super hard last night but he was just generally a really nice guy and I think something finally snapped last night. I never would've thought him capable of doing what he did last night.

i have been informed that i am thinking of the wrong "little gary", lol

wasnt it TLW who was the first person to use the strategery with flop checkbacks HU? this is some high level nostalgia.

Is Gary the white guy w/gray hair who seemed to exclusively drink Coronas? Nice guy from my experience, if so.

Yes, the same.

2 years ago at Bellagio during wsop a guy got short and told a player I know that the floor was bringing him a rack ($1000) and asked to borrow a rack until it got to the table. My friend asked the dealer if the floor was bringing him chips and the dealer confirmed it, so he gave him the rack. 10 min later the rack is gone, floor hasn't shown up with a new one, and guy leaves the table. He had never given the floor any money.

A lot of drama later, guy gives my friend the run around and Bellagio basically says there's nothing they can do about it. Guy is in the Bellagio poker room playing for the next week and basically just tells my friend '**** off'.

These are why I hate the "playing behind" rule. IMO it shouldn't be allowed anywhere, under any circumstances. Too much opportunity for fraud and other problems.
