And of course playing drunk counts.
+1

I remember seeing that_pope on FTP and wondering whether it was going to be the tough reg version or the "let's get this game out of the muck" version of his game on display. In a not huge sample, I think he also ran terrible even when playing well. Maybe that was just against me. Sort of the opposite of playing in games with TW2238, who owned me any time I was at his table.

always rooting for you and hoping things are going well.

If people make you mad, use the ignore feature?

This is your friend DrElo. Y'all should come play LHE on GlobalPoker. Nobody plays, me and the old boy from Stars ymmij5241 or whatever the numbers are are the only semi-regs. They run up to 20/40. It'd be pretty cool to get an LHE ecosystem there, they run no other limit games at all so nobody is on the site except for bigbet players.

I am robusto. I happen to be the winningest donkament player on the entire site. Come on over. Games are non-anonymous.

Going on ultra 100vpip tilt is way less costly in tournaments!
Welcome back Elo.

Congratulations on your robusto!

I'd highly encourage heading to Hammond Horseshoe if you're robusto. The juicy 20/40 half kill game is running again on Fridays again to my knowledge.

Please PM me if your ever going to go. Would be ecstatic to watch you play even if result is getting crushed by you since the regs from Hammonds in my opinion are actually worse then commerce, especially grave hours.

I threw that ignore button on Pope, and it lasted all of 30 seconds. I'm weak. Luckily he's the only person I hate. I get along just fine with everyone else.

Ah! Yes, I've played that game a couple of times. The last time I played it, though, maybe in like 2013, this dude was in a hand with me when he suddenly had a stroke or something and it was this huge scene. Scarred me a bit, I was looking straight at him when this happened.

I'm pretty strongly thinking about playing this HPT event in a couple weeks in that Ameristar place (never been there, but been to Horseshoe maybe 15 times). If I play I'll certainly head over to the Shoe. I really loved their 5/10nl 1500maxBI game, although I probably can't afford that again quite yet.

Does neverwin play? There's a guy named neverwin who plays on GlobalPoker, I asked him if he plays in that 20/40 game but got no response. I had some sweet huhu matches with him in the day; I'd like to meet him, and I heard from someone (maybe you) that he played there a bunch of years ago.

Gary/Hammond is such a ridiculously depressing place. Maybe it's different if you're coming from a different direction, but it's quite rough in those cities driving up on 65. It always dampens my enthusiasm for playing there; I feel bad for all the citizens of that place. Like, it always seems like I suddenly showed up in some 3rd-world ghetto.

I feel slightly impressed to be in the birthplace of Michael and Janet and the other Jacksons, but that's about it

neverwin is (was?) a bigger degen than you

So I've heard. I used to lurk his old forums way way back when. That's just another reason why I wanna meet him.

Elo, if you end up in LA for LAPC at all shoot me a PM and can maybee do something for tourneys when Im out there (not main events for anything) like that though.

bonus hammond story, I'm out there with a buddy for tourney series and some cash and we end up having to get hotel room in hammond(no room at resorts casino) There's like 1 hotel with a room available and its scariest place I've ever been to. They give us the "suite" which ends up having a heart shape bed with mirrors on the ceiling and a see through shower in plain view of the bed. After that just drove back to chicago

I know it's a little off topic, but I gotta tell ya, "It's all about the money" by Jesse J is a very catchy song. Sorry for the derail.

Posted this in the Bovada thread but probably will have better luck here--

Anyone have any insight on the game quality and how often the games run for higher limit games (30/60) on Bovada vs ACR? I've only played on ACR as of late. Just looking for a quick general idea - Thanks!

Feel free to PM if you prefer.

The newest rage at CAZ is 40/80 limit, half Omaha Hi, half Big O.
12-30-2017 , 12:51 PM
Is Big O played high only or /8 there?

They’ve put Big O into the mix rotation at CP as well (sometimes twice). I’ve heard it described as a “stack shifter”.

Wow, that sounds dumb
