FLAT RAKEBACK FLAT RAKEBACK

10-25-2011 , 09:00 AM
Hi fellow poker players & Affiliates

I am writing here to try and get some sanity in this crazy world that we are all in. I would like to see the return of FLAT RAKEBACK to poker.

I just tried to get a new rakeback deal and after checking every site I see asterix after **** (see what I did there?) asterix.

55*

*55% is a combination of VIP room, rake race, rake chase, 7th level Palladium Supernova Elite system.

I just want to play poker, know I will play 60k hands in a month, know I will rake 6k and know I will get 3k back.

I don't have time to check all the VIP systems every day or check if I have hit my 200 VIP point checkpoint.

Even if I did it would hit in my hourly as I would be spending TIME (= money) checking up on everything instead of playing where I usually have a tracker and I am easily able to know EXACTLY what I'm going to get.

I'd like to hear thoughts of everybody and if there is anywhere left that does NORMAL FLAT rakeback.

Rakeback is a bad word to some sites. Submit a request and see if anyone has a flat rakeback deal for you.

I agree the flat rakeback is better! Unfortunately there are very few good deals...

I know where you are coming from and I am also looking for the same thing

Is there any affiliates out there who can help? LETS UNITE for flat rakeback!

Contact the affiliates and ask them if they can sort you out a deal not advertised.

This has nothing to do with affiliates - if a site pays its affiliates via contributed rake, there's no way the affiliate's going to pay dealt. If a site pays players directly via rake races, VIP systems, or other alternatives, the affiliate's not going to have any control over this.

Hi luisnatho,

I think timchuk slightly misposted the link. You can ask 2+2's advertising affiliates for deals by making a post here.

It is also worth looking into places like Entraction, Boss & Microgaming. They have 30% flat rate and affiliates / rooms run some very transparent promotions there.

Hope you find what you're looking for,

Jamie

Hi!

Certainly understand your point of view, and I do believe you represent a whole lot of players and affiliates. Fact of the matter is unfortunately that more and more sites are looking to move away from flat rakeback, in favor of loyalty schemes. With that being said, flat deals are still very much common and you won't have to look far to find them.

Yet I would recommend you to give some of the VIP offers a second chance from a BB/P Hour perspective. Consult the right affiliate and he will easily tailor a deal fitting your specifications - If you want to check that you are being paid the % promised, simply note down the deposits related to the promotions made into your account and then compare it with for instance your rake in HM to see your monthly payment. I am saying it as these VIP offers often yield a way better percentage then the flat offers for players with your volume when you take all promotions into account.

flat rakeback deals make games go sour and soon the entire site is full of mass multitablers fighting for 5 bb pots.

that being said, its not impossible to find a flat rakeback deal if you know the right affiliate. they arent advertised however so you have to be proactive and find them yourself by knowing the right people.

I hadn't heard this but I heard rumors they are looking at changing the rake system to something like the Ongame Essence system so the two may be linked.

Yeah, as the guys have said above, it all depends how you'd like to structure it. There are tons of really good flat rakeback deals that have nothing to do with VIP points, rake chases, or whatever else. It's just a simple percentage. This is true of American sites, as well as Euro sites. You just have to ask around, do your research, and consult the right people.

A good affiliate will always keep it simple for you and provide all the required target information to achieve the rebate you need and a proper Total Rebate deal will always be better than any flat % offer.
