I use raketherake.com and i would like to know if it makes any sense for me to buy a bonus on FTP with my FPP points. I mean wont this bonus block me from earning any rakeback during the period i earn the bonus? if so how does it make any sense to buy a bonus?

Bonuses are deducted from your rake (MGR), not your RB. Therefore you "lose" 27% of the bonus amount in RB.

oh ic thanks this makes a lot of sense. so bonuses definitely are worth $$$ as they will increase the bankroll faster than just RB alone.

I thought the only way to buy bonuses on FTP was with medals, not with FTpoints?

Right, you can't buy them with points. I think OP got confused a bit (I hope) and said points instead of medals.

OP Had my hopes up for a second. If you buy and Iron Man Bonus I thought it does not count against your MGR?

No, the Iron man bonus from that store counts 100% from your MGR, not your RB. See bobo's post. You might be getting confused with the mid year bonus, which is not deducted from your MGR.

My understanding is that because of the MGR reduction, it's slightly worth more to cash for the 100K FTP points than the $600 bonus. Correct?
