Just to let you know there are cash credits available via vpp store in the bonus section. got a new $1000 cash credit for 62000!

xposted from same thread in internet poker, it obv belongs here, mods will prolly soon merge the threads?

$8,- for 500fpp
$40,- for 2500fpp
$200,- for 12500fpp
$1000,- for 62000fpp

It's an 'instant cash credit' so you can buy these in the VIP store, and you wont have to clear then like the normal bonusses you get instant cash.

That's amazing... the $285 regular bonus costs 25,000 FPP and this $200 costs just 12,500 FPP and does not have to clear any VPP points!

These are just one-shot bonuses, they should help narrow the difference between FT and Stars at lower limits though.

What rate (% rakeback) are these bonuses? Still playing on FTP and wondering if it is worth it to play for these bonuses this month.

Nvm just did the calculations my self...the $8, $40 and $200 are at .016 (aka Supernova), and the $1000 bonus is at .0161290322 etc etc

The rakeback depends on how many FPPs you are earning for your rake. If you're goldstar it's 16%, 20% platinum, 28% SN, etc. At least at the 5xVPP tables. It'll vary for $100nl and 1/2 limit and such since those aren't on the new VPP standard yet.

Ok, here's one. What about the % starting at the bottom(bronze) and going for the $200 at 12.5k fpps playing .50/1 limit fr?

Shipped all of them expect the 1000$ one. I wish I could rack up enough points for that one.
09-01-2009 , 03:43 PM
We have until the end of September to purchase these, correct?
09-01-2009 , 03:53 PM

I don't have 62k FPPs... yet.

oh, I misread your post. You do have till the end of the month to claim that $1,000. To us killing the tables and getting that $1,000 as an added bonus.

i wonder if it's possible to get that $1,000 bonus playing 50NL as gold star status

I think you'd naturally move up from Gold to Platinum...which then changes the amount of hands played at NL50 to reach the $1000 bonus.

I'm just too lazy to do that math.
09-02-2009 , 12:58 AM
i dont even know how to do the math... what's the formula?

No real simple forumla, per se. Just do the various calculations.

Gold Star = 1.5 FPP per qualifying raked hand
Platinum Star = 2.5 FPP per qualifying raked hand

Calculate how many qualifying hands you need to reach Platinum. Then, add that result to how many you'll need to reach 62k while you're at Platinum.

That make sense?

I didn't check my PT numbers, but assuming 25% of the hands I play qualify as a raked hand, it'll take me 358 hours playing 4 tables, 238 playing 6, and 178 playing 8. I currently have 9,200 FPPs and need 2800 raked hands to reach Platinum.

aren't FPP points earned by dollars raked? as opposed to hands raked?
