Oh the engineering part is "not super hard"
Model: postgres+schema based multi-tenant architecture is what I have in mind
controller: not sure what i'll pick controller wise but probably user1.app.com domain seperation)
I just have no clue how much load and/or traffic is created by X users. Basically on a high abstraction level I view SaaS as a premium on hosting for which you get certain software. I'm wondering how much I'd have to charge per user/per 10 users etc. so I kind of need to know what costs 10 typical users would create for me
Not sure it's clear what I'm trying to say
Kinda hard to google for this (or I'm just not doing it right)
Like dumb example...lets say I wanted to provide something like Springloops (online project management) as SaaS. How many day to day users could a standard Amazon S2 configuration handle and how much traffic would it probably generate. I can't even ballpark this lol.
Standard config would cost 75$/month assuming no massive data movements if that can handle 10 users I'd have to charge 75$+...if it can handle 100 users it's 7.5$+ etc.
Edit: Guess I might sign up to that course either way, thanks for the link
