You'll have to ask the devs in their support threads in the software section on 2+2.
Muh poker friend says that hand2note also uses postgres and by default it sends it to a secure server but can be changed to make your own postgresql server. shrugs. I'm def interested in h2note. I downloaded h2n briefly , thought it was very good, annoyed that it wasn't keeping track of tourney results correctly on betonline but otherwise working perfectly out of box, then my pc got hacked and I formatted everything, and haven't tried it again since i'm used to poker tracker 4 and not very knowledgeable about these things; i'm a live poker player.

I made a little live hand note taking system using a special keyboard called HH keyboard on iPhone and google sheets. The end result looks like this:

That's really cool. I get how you would do that but don't get how you would use it in practice. Is there a way to do this in game? or are you remembering hands and then going to the bathroom?

So every hand you start writing notes in iphone? in games I play in in kansas, they would stop me from doing that.

I only take notes on the hands I want to study later, and after the hand - not during.

No clue. I assume 400-500€. I've only tracked GTX 1070/1080, because these were the best value for money last year.

Not sure if the seller is legit and not going to try. I don't want to burn my fingers on miner cards. if it was for me, OK, but to sell, not that much.

On March 20th I sold a PC Gaming and then there came MONTHS of a whole lot of nothing.
in the last two weeks, I sold 6!

Not sure what is the cause, maybe the kiddos get a PC Gaming for the end of year grades and the holidays, maybe its prices dropping, but the sh PC market is stirring here in Spain.

In those 6, there were 4 builds with the Ryzen APU. Ryzen 3200g, 2200g, 3400g are still popular CPUs

Next two builds are with Ryzen 2400g and one with GTX 1660 (that I got for just 90€).

The only build that doesn't seem to be selling is the Ryzen 2600, GTX1070, 500GB SSD NVMe, 16GB RAM 3000MHz, Corsair CX550 for 550€.

About 15-20%

I'm not really in it for the money. I enjoy chasing cheap components and being the first to buy, building a solid PC, selling for a decent price and have a happy customer.

My son's gaming PC looks different every week, due to me swapping components lol
In your experience, do people pay a markup because it's ready made even if it's used and the sum of the individual components price is lower than the whole build?

With new CPUs coming this fall, I am thinking of building one high AMD and one high end Intel system, doing tests on which one handles poker programs and then selling the one which is left behind.

But I think that's tricky, because of the advantages new parts have is the warranty that comes with it. From the buyer's point of view, it doesn't make sense to pay for a new or newish PC if there's no warranty on the new parts. But if I tell the buyer that I am going to help him with any warranty issues, I am committing myself to helping some random deal with the RMA process for a power supply or whatever.

I don't want to do that. But if I don't do that, I am ether looking for a sucker or selling a new pc at a loss.

The other issue is finding an appropriate GPU for the high end CPU. That also narrows down the market and you need to make a shrewd choice. And obviously the high end market is smaller than the low end.

So, although the idea is intriguing and I am inching to build and experiment for the sake of it, I am concerned about these pitfalls.

Try this for starters.

https://pgtune.leopard.in.ua/#/

Also, upgrade to Postgresql 11. Not supported by PT4, but it takes advantage of multicore CPUs and boosts performance. There are higher versions, but I can vouch that at least this version works fine.

I have a ¡Gigabyte b450I Aorus Pro WiFi motherboard with a Ryzen 2600 and it refuses to overclock RAM. That includes applying XMP to sticks that are supposedly on the QVL or simple overclocking of everyday 2400MT DDR4 (Hynix, Samsung, Micron) using propietary BIOS RAM overclock settings.

I've signed up for Gigabyte forums, but my account is waiting for a week now to be approved lol

Any idea what i can do? Are there any BIOS settings that i should be aware of that I can play around with?

No clue really. Tried another CPU (Ryzen 2600X) and same ****. So I put regular 2666MHz RAM into this PC as the best I can do. Anything quicker has XMP

The two early Ryzen series were notoriously picky with memory timings/compatibility. If you absolutely want to make it work then check out "DRAM Calculator for Ryzen" tutorials. But it's a massive time-sink and probably not worth it for a PC that's to be sold.

Anybody here working on an Elixir project? Interested to get some perspective on a couple things. Have an opportunity that seems like a no-brainer but it comes with some specific risk. Hit me up!

I had a Corsair ValueSelect 8GB 2133 CL15 memory stick. I wanted to pair it so I bought another one second-hand of the exact same model number.

They don't work when put together. The computer won't boot, but it will boot with (either) one of them. I ran a RAM info utility and found out that one was a Hynix double rank and the other a Micron single rank module

LOL "ValueSelect". Probably a name for : "Buy crap RAM that has been binned by any manufacturer and put your label on it."

Ryzen 7xxx on new AM5 platform looks absolutely sick.
If what they say is true, Intel is going to be blown out of the water, harder than ever.
The 13th gen intel i9 chips use excessive power and are practically uncoolable.

Ryzen 7XXX is rumored to be a lot more efficient.

i don't doubt that ryzen 7xxx will still have noticeably lower power consumption than 13th gen intel, but the design power for ryzen 7xxx is much higher than ryzen 5xxx. i assume they needed to do that in order to raise the clocks so much higher (+800MHz boost!). it's probably the clock speed increases (and the ipc increases) that intel should be worried about.
