Ultimate Bet only works once, then crashes

On my laptop, I can run the UB software fine. Once. But the next time I run it, it gives me an error message and crashes instantly. I've completely uninstalled and reinstalled. My stopgap solution is keeping the install file on my desktop and installing it anew every time I want to play, which takes about 30 seconds. I have no such problems on my desktop. Any ideas?
