It'll let me me register and play a while, but if I try to open another lobby, or if I bust a tournament, I'll get a message something like:

"Playtech Game Engine has stopped responding"

Then everything crashes and will only work again if I reinstall the software and restart.

A length (2-month) back and forth with support yielded no help, no one I know has any clue what to do.


Running Win7 on a HP Envy 17, 64-bit. I've replicated the problem numerous times, both with nothing else running, and with my full suite of programs going, makes no difference.

I've tried wireless and wired. Everything is running as admin. I believe I've properly excepted the right programs from my firewall. I've tried my home cable line and my phones 3G, same problem.

Can anyone offer any help? I am totally at a loss.

I should also have mentioned, im not using a vpn. Im connecting directly via a CableTica cable modem in Costa Rica.
