Hey folks,

After searching the app store ad nauseum, I've decided to just come to where I know someone can get an answer. I'm trying to find an app that will allow me to record my ipad screen and save it as a video. We've downloaded a few apps that appeared to do this, but turns out they didn't. It seems like this would be a simple, obvious thing to do but I'm unable to find anything.

Thanks in advance...

Any apps that do this are against Apple's rules, and should not be approved.

But here is how to do it in six steps:

Under Quicktime Player

Thanks, I'll give it a try. Recording your screen is against Apple's rules? That seems odd.

That's not quite what he said.

Apps that record your screen are against Apples rules. Recording the screen is not against the rules - in fact Apple make it pretty easy to do if you have a Mac.

Ah, ok. That makes a tad bit more sense. Thanks for the input.

The instructions say to use (Apple) Quicktime software. I assume that this works for Mac and Windows Quicktime.

iOS 11 has it a built-in feature in the Control Center
