Hello,

I am in need of a new laptop and I got a nice offer for one but it has only 32GB of RAM and no possibility to add to 64.

My question for the gurus is that would I ever need 64 or is 32 enough for the foreseeable future? I play at GG and use PT4 and I know that this stuff works perfectly but what about if I want to play with some solvers in the future? Any other things that I may not realize that would be needing more RAM? Any other tech details I should be sure to get?

32gb is likely to be enough and reasonable for the forseeable future.

Ultimately, in a laptop, you're going to have to make trade-offs for space/portability/cost. 32gb is not a small amount of RAM!

there is no way you need 64gb of ram... unless it's uber old ram.
