Problems with my laptop Problems with my laptop

20 days ago I bought a new laptop, an Asus E210. I download some poker softwares: PartyPoker, 888poker, HM3, Poker Snowie, Holdem Resources Beta and Equilab. And I don't have storage space, it's 100% full. Is it normal and I should buy an external memory, the laptop is very poor for online poker, or what's going on and what's the best option?

Thanks for any help!

welp it's the cheapest "laptop", more like a tablet with windows tho
prob got 64gb of emmc storage
you have the option to buy an m.2 ssd and expand the storage but the rest of it is so slow and bothered ,not even worth it
partypoker not going to happen, their client runs like **** anyway, 888 is a bit more civilized but still meh
if it's got 4gb ram and no possibility to expand, hem + poker client not going to run great at all
11" crap resolution screen... can fit 2 tables?
can you still return it?
I love cheap stuff but there's a lower limit where value for money goes in the toilet

ye return while you still can and I'll help you pick something else
if you're on a low budget, an older refurbished laptop will do much better

For what I've been reading and what I saw, I think this is the best option for "low" budget. What do you think?

https://soytuhogar.com/informatica/p...22136274670698

you're in Spain right?

much better choice in that 500 eur price bracket
https://www.amazon.es/Acer-Aspire-A5...7&sr=8-49&th=1

need to install your own Windows. not complicated, can show you how. actually it's advisable to slap a fresh copy of Windows on one of these big brand name laptops as they come with pre-installed junk that slows down your system

if you can afford to step it up a notch,
https://www.amazon.es/HONOR-MagicBoo...ps%2C97&sr=8-3

actually a nice laptop, more ram for more headroom on apps you can run at the same time

if you want to play games too
https://www.amazon.es/MSI-Bravo-B5DD...s%2C97&sr=8-11

and cheapest option that I see on amazon.es and that makes sense
https://www.amazon.es/Dell-Latitude-...s%2C105&sr=8-3

Exactly. Right now I'm in Spain. Where are you from/where are you living? Something like UK I would say hahaha

These laptops looks good man! And about that Windows thing. You recommend to always delete the pre installed Windows and to install your own Windows?

it can't hurt really, at the very least I know for sure Dell and HP load their desktops and laptops with several useless programs that run in the background and take up system resources. Lenovo, Acer, MSI, etc. likely do this too, more or less. you can remove them if you can find them all but they might leave traces so it's good practice to install your own Windows. these days it's quick.

original windows keys can be had for 15-20 eur from sites like g2a or kinguin or you can just not bother activating windows and you get 99,9% the same experience

I'm a big newbie on the PC world, I didn't even know I could run my PC without a Windows or anything😯. Can I direct message you and if I have any question or problem ask your help?

I owe you. I'll think of a way to compensate you for the help and time!

Do not buy on Amazon. Buy on Wallapop. There's 100s of second hand laptops on Wallapop .
Make sure that:
A) It has an SSD, not an HD
B) It has at least 8, but preferably 16GB of RAM
C) Find out the model of processor. To know it is an "I5" is not sufficient. You need the numbers as well. The first number indicates the generation AKA how old it is. There's a lot of junk for sale that is over 10 years old. You want at least 7-8th generation, if it is Intel.
D) Screen size. 15.6" is standard, 17.3" is big, 14" is small.
E) Negotiate the price.

Put the options you like here and we can have a look at them. Try to find buyers that are close to you, so you can view the thing in person.

Suerte!

I bought an 8gen I3 with Intel Optane for 230€ on Wallapop. I fitted in some more ram and replaced the 16GB Optane with a 512 GB NVMe SSD and I had a very fast laptop for cheapz

Hey Gabe! Thanks for the help!

I already bought the laptop.

I never buy second-hand products, they give me mistrust, I don't know why. What's your experience buying second-hand products? Is it good?

Do you have any insurance or something that makes it possible for you to return it if your computer goes bad? I sometimes searched on eBay etc, and doesn't appear anything about that. So buying a second-hand product "blindly" without the possibility of returning it does not appeal to me.

But I will be happy to know your experiences with second-hand products etc!☺️

I have excellent experiences buying second hand products. I bought for 5 figures on Wallapop in 2021

All you need it to know what you are buying and my experience is that most computer buyers haven't got a goddamn clue

Currently, if I needed anything whatsoever, I wouldn't consider anything else but buying sh. It saves a lot of money. Second hand has.more value than a 2-3 year warranty, which ends up being worth nothing almost always

Thanks all of you for your help!

I finally bought "HP 250 G7" with Intel Core i5, 256GB SSD, RAM 8GB DDR4 SODIMM memory and 15.6"

Ionut told me some great PCs but my maximum was 500€, and this laptop was 494,95€. In some other places it costs +600€, even 700€.

What do you guys think, was it a good purchase for playing poker?
