Is there a way to insert hard page breaks in a long HTML file that will be recognized by Adobe when the HTML file is converted to PDF?

Or is there a way to manipulate the PDF version to match the page breaks in the HTML file?

I use Adobe Pro X.

You can open the html file with your choice of office word processor (MS Word, OOo, whatever Apple has, etc.) and input the page breaks you want and then export as a pdf. HTML doesn't have a 'page break' tag, since it's not intended for things that end up on physical pages.

Two first-post suggestions there. No offence two the two posters, but unless someone else has something decent to say about either I wouldn't go clicking without further research.
