New Desktop suddenly receives poor internet connection

Hi guys,

This is a random one.

My new desktop PC was receiving 5 bars of signal and great internet speeds since I bought it 2 months ago.
Last week it dropped down to 1 bar and awful internet speeds. I can no longer even play Warcraft 3 (Requires almost no connection!)
Speedtest shows 80mps download, 15mbps upload so great on their end.
My other 2 laptops show great internet speeds and work great so it must be a problem with my desktop.

Same problem when I plug the desktop into the router.

Any ideas?

When you plug the desktop into the router, this is by ethernet cable, right?

If you have the same problems when connecting via wireless, and via wired cable, it suggests the problem is probably on the desktop itself.

It might be possible that you have some other software on your PC using a huge amount of data. Assuming you are on Windows 10 (a safe assumption, imo) here's a simple way to see the programs that are using data on your PC:

Are any of the programs on your data usage details list surprising?
