Finished my new Computer build the other day, after running my current system for nearly 20 years... this one was a bit of a upscale challenge as I have built a computer in more than a decade.

It LIVES!

Running Stress Test... +5.1gz @ 80șc. well within parameters and running beautifully.

Initial Cinebench test scores...

multicore 34,999

single core 2019

Ultimately, I got everything stable and running beautifully... I got my cinebench scores up a little, but I am sure there is more to come.

The mutlicore/multi CCD/Vcache chip-sets are a little tricky to under volt and stabilize... so maybe I will leave it here for now.

I've also been eyeing 4080 and 4090 prices as the 7900gre was always going to be a stand in GPU until either the 40 series prices came down, which they have, or until we see how fast the new 50 series are...

Sweet

I built 50+ Ryzen AM4 systems, but never on AM5 platform. That CPU is a beast

What stress tests did you run? Have you tried Linpack Xtreme?

I don't have that app, I should get it. I used cinebench4 and rizen master... another one also, I can't remember the name right now.
I use PBO to overclock, and I have not under volted as yet, but I will.
I am already eyeing the ryzen 9950x, but I would probably wait for a 3d V cache version... and my idea of using the 7900gre for my GPU and a holdover until the new Gen Nvidias are released seems go be a good decision because that 5090 looks to be an absolute beast. That's the last piece for me,but I think I would need to bump up my pcu to the meg1300w... I don't think 1000w is enough.

I also added a second 2tb Samsung 990 pro in the second m.2 gen5 slot and replaced my 32gb gSkill ddr6000 with 64gb gSkill ddr6000.

And she's running fine.

A little undervolting and some minor tweaks and I can get to 37,000+ on cinebench r23 in multicore mode.

I also added some new computer speakers...

I'm a single monitor guy... that 32" is a 180Hz unit that is in place until I get around to a OLED.
